Marvels of Seasons, 17th - 20th Centuries
December 3, 2011 to January 8, 2012 at ArtZone 461 Gallery
ArtZone 461 Gallery celebrates all Holidays and New Years with a remarkable offering in the side Gallery: "Marvels of Seasons, 17th to 20th Centuries" include heirlooms, family and partners acquisitions, interesting items for any and everyone's wish lists.
Objects from a few great Wisconsin families highlight the side gallery selections of Asian, English and Continental antiques and collections. Many pieces come from the not so great though terribly infamous and traveled Uncle Leslie Ruehl (1922 - 2005). In New York he was a party guest of Peggy Guggenheim, in Chicago, student of Mies Van Der Rohe and later, near 20-year world traveler - and later still, banned from more than one country...
Highlights include Arts & Crafts pottery and glass; jewelry for men and women - from fine Swiss timepieces to pre-Columbian adornments; Satsuma and Imari; unusual tribal and middle-east wares; box and brass collections; things big and small. The gallery hopes something for all!
Opening Reception Saturday December 3, 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Gallery Hours: 12-6 pm Wednesday-Sunday, occasional evenings and anytime by appointment
