The Martin Simpson Trio is a coming together of some of the finest musicians and singers in the UK today. Martin Simpson himself is recognised as one of the best acoustic guitar players in the world, with an unique mixture of British and American music in his repertoire. He has won BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for Musician of the Year and Album of the Year, twice and also for Best Original Track in 2008. Andy Cutting on melodeon is renowned for his work with June Tabor, Chris Wood, Kate Rusby, John McCusker and many others. Andy Seward plays double bass with Kate Rusby's Band and with John Tams.

Together this is an unstoppable combination of talent, which has taken Martin's music to a new level and is a thrilling band to see and enjoy.
