The Marriott Theatre is proud to present the hilarious new musical Married Alive! Married Alive! previews June 27th, opens July 6th, and runs through September 2nd at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, 10 Marriott Drive.
Married Alive! is a new musical that celebrates marital bliss and blisters. The show focuses on two couples, Erin and Paul, a pair of wide-eyed newlyweds, and Ron and Diane, a more experienced pair of oldyweds. From wedding day to empty nest and everything in between, its a zany new musical that affectionately applauds and pokes fun at marriage. Ever wonder why its called an Institution?
The evening begins, appropriately enough, with the wedding ceremony of Erin and Paul. When they start reciting their overly florid vows, Ron and Diane, who are in attendance, can barely contain their bemusement at Erin and Pauls wide-eyed innocence. As the evening progresses we see both couples hilariously struggle with contemporary problems; personal taste, money, work that keeps them apart, when or whether to have children, what to do when youve got them, keeping the home fires burning and assessing where theyve succeeded and where theyve failed.
Married Alive! stars David Larsen, Kathy Santen, Kelly Sullivan and Gene Weygandt, accompanied onstage by Kevin Disch and Roberta Duchak.
The artistic team for Married Alive! is led by Director Vicky Bussert and Choreographer Linda Fortunato with Musical Direction by Dale Rieling. Set Design is by Tom Ryan, Costume Design by Nancy Missimi, Lighting Design by Diane Williams, Sound Design by Cecil Averrett and Properties Design by Gregory Isaac.
