One of the EFT’s primary focuses is to help couples reconstruct and create new emotional experiences.
Studies have shown that EFT has proven to be effective in helping couples attain a more secure and stable relationship.
This workshop is specially designed for married couples to enrich and revitalize their marriage through participation in experiential activities and sharing aims to refine the couple’s emotional experience and restructuring of interactions.
Speakers’ Profile
Michael Chin graduated from the University of South Australia and he holds a Master Degree in Social Science (Counselling). He has a few years of clinical experience working with families, couples and individuals in a Family Service Centre and Counselling Centre setting. He is currently a counsellor with Care Corner Counselling Centre. He has developed interests in helping couples strengthen their relationship and individuals on continued personal growth.
His wife, Chan Guat Choo, holds a Bachelor of Education (Social Work) from National Taiwan Normal University and a Master in Education (Counselling) from National Chi Nan University. She is among the few in Asia to be certified as an EFT therapist. She has about 15 years of clinical experience working with families, couples and individuals in a Counselling Centre setting. She is currently a Senior Counsellor with Care Corner Counselling Centre.
Her work experience with many couples has meant that she has developed specialized skills and interests in handling couple issues. The couple has been married for more than 10 years and have 2 lovely daughters.
