Mark Ellisman is a professor of neurosciences and bioengineering, director of theNational Center for Microscopy and Imaging Research, director of the Biomedical Informatics Research Network Coordinating Center, and director of the Center for Research in Biological Systems at the University of California-San Diego. The seminar is sponsored by the Center for Computational Medicine and Biology, the National Center for Integrative Biomedical informatics, and the School of Information.
