Southern California born and bred, Maritri has found her way to New York as a pianist, vocalist, arranger, and composer. She opened for Gladys Knight, The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, Stanley Jordan, Toshi Reagon, Hiram Bullock, Muzz Skillins, Vinx and the Indigo Girls with her band Hue. She has recently played with Vernon Reid, Sonya Sanchez , Ani Di Franco and Nona Hendryx.
