A master of creating rich dreamscape atmospheres, Boston-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Marissa Nadler is known for her dreamy, atmospheric music that, although rooted in folk traditions, is more ethereal than earthy. Her soprano voice (often bathed in reverb) is what people immediately respond to in her music.
