Joseph Haydn's "most radical" Symphony No. 49, also known as 'La Passione,' is paired with two equally passionate works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart--his Piano Concerto in C Major, K 503, featuring pianist Robin Sutherland, and the powerful Symphony No. 41, nicknamed 'Jupiter.' Critics have called Robin Sutherland--"the perfect Mozart pianist." Mr. Sutherland is principal pianist with the San Francisco Symphony--first appointed to that position by Seiji Ozawa over 30 years ago.
