Marin Music Chest Annual Scholarship Recital
The Marin Music Chest presents its annual concert featuring student musicians honored with this year’s MMC award scholarships. This free concert features classical solo performances in voice and on piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, flute, clarinet and harp by each of the 17 Marin Music Chest scholarship winners.
A reception will follow the concert.
The 2010 Music Chest Scholarship Recital is dedicated to the memory of the late Alma Tomlinson and an award in her name will be presented to the most outstanding performer at the end of the recital.
The Marin Music Chest was established in 1933. After more than forty years of presenting concerts, the Marin Music Chest made the annual scholarship program its primary mission, providing financial support to promising Marin County students of classical music.
