The Debut of Marin History Museum’s 2009 exhibit- Growing the Future: Farming Families in Marin. The Marin History Museum (MHM) is getting ‘down to earth’ in 2009 with a new exhibition celebrating the history and heritage of farm fresh food cultivated in Marin’s fertile lands. From pioneer farmers of the mid 1800s who established the early dairy and cattle operations, to 3rd and 4th generation descendants who continue the legacy today, Growing the Future: Farming Families of Marin explores the rich history of agriculture in Marin County, spanning 150 years of family run farms and ranches.
