Marin Arts Council OPEN STUDIOS May 2, 2009

The Marin Arts Council presents its 16th Annual Open Studios, a free, self-guided discovery tour through Marin County to studios of hundreds of Marin artists in the only county-wide open studio event presented in Marin County.

Get the free Artists Directory and map and take off on this free springtime trip through Marin, touring artists’ studios over two weekends in May. Visit studios in North and West Marin May 2 & 3 and in Central and Southern Marin on May 9 &10.

The event also features the 2009 Open Studios Gallery open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays from April 14 to May 10 at 1299 Fourth Street in San Rafael. Featuring artwork representing each artist participating in 2009 Marin Arts Council Open Studios.

Participating in Marin Arts Council Open Studios supports the talented artists working in diverse, creative, culturally rich Marin County. Purchasing art directly from the studio allows art lovers and collectors to connect with artists and hear stories about their works.
