This concert, featuring Canadian pianist Marika Bournaki, is presented in association with (and for the benefit of) the Glenn Gould Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting international awareness of the late, world-renowned Canadian pianist. In particular, the foundation celebrates Gould's artistry and his ideas on music and technology. The 16-year-old Bournaki will play a program that includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.
