The Chrysalis Group presents a screening and discussion with the producer of this documentary film about Marii Hasegawa (1918-2012): one woman - pragmatic, soft-spoken, steadfast, humorous - who focused her attention on the work of peace, freedom, and justice from the dawn of the nuclear age into the 21st century.
Born near Hiroshima, graduated from Berkeley, interned after Pearl Harbor ~ these life events prompted Hasegawa to quietly work for peace and human rights for more than 60 years.
