"Marian O'Connell: Artist Books and Etching" Exhibit February 22, 2011

Marian O'Connell's exquisite intaglio prints are on display in the Griswold House at the Newport Art Museum until March 20. Her prints are inspired by things she loves: New England flowers, gardens and architecture. O'Connell's hand-painted accordion book Walls, Gates and Fences, 2008 won "Best in Show" and the "Newport Art Museum Award" in the 2009 Newport Annual Members' Juried Exhibition.
