Marian is an Alaskan songwriter and vocalist who describes her music as "folk funk for the coffee-counter culture". She has written, for example, an elegy to a spaceship and the theme for a Zombies movie. Her third CD, Something Fierce, is about to be released; it features soaring vocals to the way-cool "Temporal Dominoes". She will perform with a guitar accompanist and accompany herself on a manual typewriter "Madeleine".
