Margarida Correia: Saudade May 27, 2010

Margarida Correia's photo series, 'Saudade', evoke different levels of time and forms of representation in photography, and the relationship between a person and a parent as embodied in objects. Each piece is represented by the portrait in the present of the subject wearing the object, a reproduction of the old photograph of the original owner using the same object and a still life of the object.
