Greater Harmony Chorus Presents "Mardi Gras Magic"

Greater Harmony Chorus will present their annual show, entitled "Mardi Gras Magic",  on October 2, 2010, at Pine-Richland Middle School, 100 Logan Road, in Gibsonia, PA.  Two shows will be performed, a matinee at 2:30 and an evening show at 7:30.  Greater Harmony Chorus performs a cappella in the barbershop style.  The show will feature the Greater Harmony Chorus, chapter quartets, and the men's barbershop quartet, "AnotheRound".  One of the featured quartets will be "BLAK Velvet", the current champion women's quartet in the region, who will compete in the Sweet Adelines International Quartet Competition in Seattle in October.  The show will also feature the 3rd annual "Pittsburgh's Talented Teen" contest.  Five teen contestants, who competed with more than 25 other area teen singers in May for the five slots, will compete for audience votes at both shows.  The winner will be announced at the conclusion of the evening show.  Tickets for adults are $15.00 in advance or $18.00 at the door, $5.00 for children 12 and under.  For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Greater Harmony at greaterharmony@hotmail.com or 412-613-9800, or see www.greaterharmony.org.
