Marcus Goldhaber & The Jon Davis Trio, “Pre-Release Concert Series” September 24, 2008

Singer/songwriter Marcus Goldhaber returns to the stage alongside The Jon Davis Trio, featuring: Jon Davis (piano), Martin Wind (bass), and Marcello Pellitteri (drums). These back-to-back performances at the coveted Metropolitan Room will take place on Wednesday, September 24th, and Thursday, September 25th, 2008 (at 9:30PM each night), offering a taste of the exciting and more-established new look and feel Marcus has cultivated for his new album, Take Me Anywhere. As a pre-release event, 50 copies of the newly arrived album will be made available exclusively to concert-goers, before the album is officially released in stores and online in November, 2008. As an added bonus this Fall, Marcus will be launching his new website (www.MarcusGoldhaber.com), and introducing his new YouTube Channel (www.YouTube.com/MarcusGoldhaber) which will feature streaming video clips from various live performances as well as up-close and personal interviews with the artist himself. Take Me Anywhere is the 2nd album to be released on Marcus’ own label, Fallen Apple Records, and will serve as a great successor to his wildly popular debut CD, The Moment After. Here, Marcus will be introduced as a songwriter with 7 original songs to accompany 10 exciting and fresh arrangements of tasty standards such as “No Moon At All,” “I Fall In Love Too Easily,” “A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening,” and “Look For The Silver Lining.”
