Born in Kingston, Marcia Griffiths started her career in the duo Bob and Marcia. Between 1974 and 1981 she was a member of the I-Threes - the backing vocal group for Bob Marley & the Wailers. Her massive hit Electric Boogie remains the highest-selling single by a female Reggae singer of all time.
