Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital will join America’s favorite walk, the March of Dimes March for Babies!
Funds raised during the walk will support crucial research and care for babies born premature or with birth defects, educate women about healthy pregnancy, provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care, and advocate for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and children. Since 1970, the walk has raised $1.8 billion to benefit babies.
For more information about the event and to join the Children’s Memorial Hermann March for Babies team, visit www.marchforbabies.org/teams/cmhh. Participants who cannot walk on April 2 may join the team as “virtual walkers.”
Children’s Memorial Hermann, named a Center of Excellence by the United Resource Network, provides comprehensive care for mothers and babies, including a 38-bed Level II Neonatal Special Care Unit and a 90-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The hospital is co-sponsoring the March for Babies along with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
