March Mayhem - The Crawl to Madness March 3, 2012

Annual event for crazed crawlers rooting for their college hoop hopefuls in preparation of the tourney to the Big Dance. Our guests “get in the game” and don school colors, cheer their team on and toast to their alma mater making the bracket.

Unlike typical Chicago barhopping, Mayhem guests enjoy a day of entertainment and festivities at several favorite Southport Ave pubs on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from noon to 7 pm.

Attendees check in at Schubas at noon for our “pre-game warm-up” with a live set from The Future Laureates, then enjoy mingling, interactive games and activities, drink specials, and our “Nothing but Net” giveaway (with sweet prizes and other goodies).

Participating venues: Schubas Tavern, Schoolyard Tavern, Southport Lanes & Billiards, Justin’s, Wheel House Wrigley, and Toons Bar & Grill.

March Mayhem is a pub crawl that promotes open and friendly camaraderie between all college basketball fans with a competitive spirit in anticipation of the NCAA Tournament, while highlighting the best neighborhood establishments on Southport in Lakeview.
