Craft demonstrators, artists, and vendors of handmade items or produce will be showing and selling their goods. Items for sale include paintings, photographs, Native American crafts, quilts, bonnets, baby clothing, jewelry, rosaries, soap, candles, preserves, cypress furniture, wooden boat models, pottery, garden items such as plants, benches, pots, and bird feeders. Food such as red beans and rice, sweets, and drinks will be sold.
Visitors can also tour the Interpretive Museum, Olivier Plantation House and Acadian Farmstead. Activities for children will also be offered. Hours are 9:00 to 4:00. Admission to the park including the market and all tours is $2:00 for each adult – children and seniors 62 and older are FREE. Booth space is available with NO FEE charged to vendors but registration is required.
