March 5, 6: The Life Game(TM)
Life Game is exciting theatre inspired by live audience interviews. Volunteer audience members are asked questions about their home town, their families, and important events in their lives. The answers inspire the actors to spontaneously create scenes or songs. The Life Game is probing, funny, sweet, and unpredictable...just like life. Directed by William Hall.
March 12, 13: The News Show
A little bit Mort Sahl, a little bit "Daily Show," and a lot of improvisation, The News Show is a night of improvised scenes inspired by real-life stories from the news papers of the world. Articles are chosen by performers and audience alike, so come early, grab a paper, and be a part of the magic that happens when real news meets real improv. Directed by Paul Killam.
March 19, 20: Director's Cut
A variety of surprising improvised scenes are guided by Directors-each with a unique theatrical vision. You, the audience, decide whether each scene is a hit or a flop. But there's a catch-each director gets a total of only 13 minutes TOTAL to tell their story/stories. "Director's Cut" promises to be a fast-paced, anything-goes night of improv not to be missed! Directed by Kasey Klemm.
March 26, 27: 3 For All
The popular improv trio returns to the Bayfront Theater for two nights only! Don't miss the group the critics call "Brilliant...Hilarious...A Must-See!"
