Marble Collegiate Church Will Be "An Ocean of Dazzling Spring Flowers" For Easter Services April 24, 2011

Thousands of spring flowers, including a 10-foot tall cross decorated with lilies, surrounded by even more lilies at the chancel, with dozens of baskets filled with tulips, dogwood, forsythia and Casablanca lilies, hanging from the balconies, will make New York City landmark Marble Collegiate Church, a dazzling “ocean of spring flowers” during Easter services on Sunday, April 24th; services begin at 9 AM and 11:00AM; Marble Collegiate Church, 29th Street and Fifth Avenue, Manhattan.
Performing during the services with brass and percussion accompaniment is the Marble Sanctuary Choir.
Marble Church’s roots reach back almost 400 years, yet the congregation continues to grow and thrive in progressive and innovative ways. Under the leadership of Dr. Michael B.
