Marathon of the Palm Beaches December 2, 2007

The 26.2 and 13.1 mile figure eight courses start and finish on the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway near the Meyer Amphitheatre in Downtown West Palm Beach.

Both course routes run south along the beautiful waterfront to a turnaround in the City of Lake Worth and returns through the historic neighborhood of El Cid to the Half Marathon finish at the Meyer Amphitheatre between Flagler Memorial and Royal Park bridges. The races begin at 6:00 am and all roads re-open at 12:00 pm.

The Marathon continues north along the Intracoastal through the Historic Old Northwood Community to its turnaround on 58th Street. It continues south along Flagler Drive and the waterfront overlooking yachts and the mansions of Palm Beach to a turnaround on Washington Rd. and back to the finish at the Meyer Amphitheatre.
