Dr. Paulette van Vliet

Dr. van Vliet is currently funded by a Future Fellowship from the Australian Research Council at the University of Newcastle, Callaghan, NSW, Australia. Prior to this she was an Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, Department of Physiotherapy.

Dr. van Vliet has an extensive research track record spanning the examination of motor control of reach to grasp movements following stroke and neurological disease, to the conduct of RCTs examining effectiveness of interventions used in current practice, compared to those designed from motor control principles for the treatment of arm movements following stroke.
