Suitable for those who have completed all levels of Mandarin up to 703 or who have completed 670 hours of recent face-to-face tuition, Mandarin 704 is designed to develop students confidence and skills in expressing ideas by applying newly acquired language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. With the emphasis on spoken language competency, the learning activities are based on both language and socio-cultural contexts and aim at developing effective communicative skills in more advanced and sophisticated Chinese on various issues.
