Manchester Pride Parade 2007 August 25, 2007

Manchester Pride Festival 2007 will take place from Friday 17th August to Monday 27th August!! Manchester Pride is Manchester’s annual festival celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) life.

The main weekend is August 24th to August 27th.

The Parade will take place on August 25th.

This year's Manchester Pride Parade starts at 2.00pm on Saturday 25 August 2007, and follows a great new route that sees the parade pass right through the heart of the city.

A carnival atmosphere will fill the streets of Manchester and is set to enthrall the thousands of spectators - young and old, gay and straight, friends and family - who come down to see the glamorous and the outrageously fabulous people who take part.

This year, we have a whole host of new entrants and some amazing costumes and entries.

Please note - you do not need Big Weekend tickets to watch the parade, however you will need them to get into the Big Weekend site in and around Canal Street afterwards!
