Managing Anger and Other Emotions November 20, 2010

WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN AGES 8-12

Does your child have strong emotions that are difficult to handle? Do you want your child to learn how to tame his/her anger? Do you want your child to learn how to express emotions appropriately?

Here’s a workshop that helps children focus on understanding emotions and learning how to manage them It is a fun way to learn practical, effective tools that will make life easier.

This 2-hour workshop, offered in St. Mary Immaculate Parish’s North Wing Rooms B&C, will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The fee is $20 with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 participants. St. Mary Immaculate Parish is located at 15629 South Rt. 59 in Plainfield.

The instructor, Joan Lopina, MS, LCPC, has 35+ years experience, is a Counselor and Psychotherapist, and a former teacher of grades 4-7. Please call 815-439-5642 for more information or to register.
