Malawian Presidential Candidate Speaking in Raleigh February 17, 2009

James Nyondo, a candidate for the Presidency of Malawi and a symbol of hope for democracy and stability in the 7th poorest country in the world, is coming to Raleigh this Tuesday February 17th. He is making a brief stop in the United States before the election in May.

On Tuesday James will tell his story and share his hopes and plans to bring free enterprise, political accountability, and democracy to Malawi, a country whose people have been plagued with poverty and whose government has been wrought with corruption. As Nelson Mandela brought South Africa into a new post-Apartheid era, James Nyondo seeks to bring change to Malawi. At this event James will increase awareness of the plight of his nation. All are welcome to attend.

We will be helping James's campaign by collecting donations to support his candidacy.
