April 17 7:30pm and April 18 9am – 5pm
Learning about the world's rich nonviolent history, as featured on Friday night with a presentation by Dr. Sandra Hoenle on German Nonviolent Resistance, is a great starting point for nonviolence training.
Nonviolent Conflict Intervention Training (on Saturday lead by Madelyn MacKay) lets you explore how nonviolent methods can lessen or prevent conflict— in your daily life, in your community, and around the world. The NCI curriculum was developed by Nonviolent Peaceforce of North America. www.nonviolentpeaceforce.org
