Making Media Now: Filmmaking in Transition June 1, 2007

Organized by Filmmakers Collaborative, this unique event will serve film and media makers of all levels in the New England region and will feature leading industry professionals, master classes, and informational panels.

Making Media Now will focus on new technologies and the opportunities they create for film and media makers. Today’s world of video blogs, YouTube, Brightcove, VideoEgg, blip.tv, and other Internet innovations has democratized the tools of media creation and distribution. We will explore how filmmakers can utilize these new technologies to their best advantage.

By offering this day-long conference on alternative modes of marketing and distribution, and what the future holds, we will provide a much-needed, cutting-edge learning and networking opportunity for media makers throughout the region.
