Makeshift Metropolis: Ideas About Cities February 6, 2011

This lecture will describe how current ideas in urban planning evolved from the movements that defined the 20th century, such as City Beautiful, the Garden City and the influential ideas of architect Frank Lloyd Wright and Jane Jacobs, who wrote 'The Death and Life of Great American Cities.'
