Make-out With Violence October 29, 2010

Narrated by Beetle, young sibling to twin brothers Patrick and Carol Darling, Make-Out With Violence mixes equal parts teenage summertime angst with a horror movie premise: Wendy Hearst, subject of Patrick’s unrequited crush, disappears and then is discovered in the woods, an animated corpse. The brothers bring her home and spend the sweltering summer hiding Wendy from view, searching for ways to revive her or, failing that, to satisfy their own quests for love amongst the living and the dead.

At once humorous and tragic, Make-Out with Violence offers a fresh perspective on the supernatural and a sincere and heartfelt look at the sorrow of loss and the pain of growing up.
