Reach out, speak out and dance, at the “Make Noise to Save a Life” fundraiser and party at the House of Blues Boston. This high-energy event will raise awareness and funds for Samaritans Inc., a local suicide prevention and support organization which serves the greater Boston and MetroWest communities.
Joe Bermudez, joined by Davis Ballard, will spin music for more than 1,000 high school and college students while raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention and support services. Bermudez who has remixed tracks for Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Shakira, Taylor Swift, and others was named one of the top 20 DJs in the country by the DJ Times.
Suicide is a silent crisis. Family and friends affected by suicide often suffer quietly and alone. To combat that, this night on the dance floor at the House of Blues will be an opportunity to be together, wear loud clothes, and move to great music.
The “Make Noise to Save a Life” benefit, generously hosted by the House of Blues Boston, 15 Lansdowne Street, will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is $15 for ages 16 and up and $10 for ages 21 and up. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.makenoisetosavealife.org.
Sponsors include Cole Creative, Converse, “Fred (the water)” the House of Blues, Polartec, The Red Sox Foundation and Teak Media Communications. For more information about sponsorship opportunities, contact Naomi Schwartz at (617) 645-9400.
