Maira Kalman--Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World) November 16, 2010

To mark the opening of the exhibition Maira Kalman: Various Illuminations (of a Crazy World), join Maira Kalman for an insightful illustrated talk. The celebrated artist will reflect upon her life and work, which she sees as inextricably intertwined. Exhibition curator Ingrid Schaffner, of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, will introduce the program.

Exhibition catalogues and a selection of Kalman books will be available for purchase. A book signing follows the program.

*Visit the gallery before it opens to the public on November 17. The exhibition Maira Kalman will be free and open to lecture attendees 6:00–8:00 p.m.
