Maidu Indian Day: A Native American Celebration October 6, 2007

Join the center in celebrating the gifts and traditions of this living native culture. Enjoy demonstrations of traditional Maidu skills such as acorn cooking, basket making and flint knapping. Participate in crafts, ethnobotany walks, storytelling and hand-on activities for children and adults.
