Maggie Longmire: Granddaughters - an Americana Opera February 2, 2008

Jubilee Community Arts welcomes Maggie Longmire to perform her work, 'Granddaughters - An Americana Opera.' 'Granddaughters' is a story of life in the hills of East Tennessee set in the early 1900's. The story of two sisters and their younger half-sister born in a small coal mining town unfolds in eleven original songs by Maggie Longmire and Free Soil Farm. Maggie, Free Soil Farm and co-producer Jay Manneschmidt will be joined by R.B. Morris, Don Cassell, Danny Gammon and Hector Qirko.
