Madison, Wis. – The Dairyland Dolls, Madison’s nationally ranked
all-star roller derby team, faces the Houston HaRD Knocks Saturday,
July 24 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy
Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way.
Also playing is Team Unicorn, MRD’s non-chartered travel team, versus
the La Crosse Skating Sirens of La Crosse, Wis. The bout is the only
at-home interleague event this year. The after-party will be at Plan
B, 924 Williamson St., Madison. A portion of the bout’s proceeds
benefits the Community Action Coalition, cacscw.org.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the bout starts at 6 p.m. Tickets for the
bout are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Kids three years old and
younger are admitted to the bout free of charge. Kids ages four
through 10 are admitted at half price. Tickets are available online at

The Dairyland Dolls are currently ranked No. 3 in the North Central
region and No. 13 in the nation. They will compete in the North
Central regional tournament Sept. 10 – 12 in Green Bay, Wis., and will
continue on to Nationals Nov. 5 – 6 in Chicago if they place in the
top three.
The Mad Rollin’ Dolls sold out all three of their bouts in the
Exhibition Halls and set a new league attendance record during the
2010 home season. The Dolls begin their seventh season in December
2010.
