Macy's Santa is Coming to Oklahoma City 12/10 December 10, 2010

WHAT:
Santa Claus is coming to town! Giving the reindeer time off for good behavior, Santa will arrive on a shiny Macy’s tour bus as he stops to visit children of all ages in Oklahoma City. Welcoming one-and-all to join in the festivities, Santa will remind everyone about the magic of the Christmas season with a special reading and a few magical moments with the jolly old elf. Santa’s joy-spreading will continue with a special visit to Penn Square Mall Macy’s, where Santa will make his national bus tour Oklahoma City stop and receive the “red-carpet treatment” with fire works and Make-A-Wish kids in tow.

As it has for the past two years, Macy’s “Believe” campaign invites children to mail letters to Santa using Macy’s Santa Mail Letterboxes. Macy’s donates $1 for each letter mailed in store, up to $1 million, to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.

Santa’s arrival
As the choir begins to sing and fireworks let off at the Macy’s parking lot entrance, Make-A-Wish foundation will also roll out the red carpet (literally) to help welcome the Santa Claus that is traveling around the United States bring to joy to all children.
