"The celebration begins at 5:30pm on G. Street in front of Macy’s Metro Center as Ballou High School Marching Band sounds-off the evening’s festivities. Then, we’ll raise the curtain on our holiday windows with host, TV personality Paul Wharton and DC football player Anthony Armstrong followed by a very special musical performance by the Washington Performing Arts Society Children of the Gospel Choir and a visit from Santa Claus himself!
Follow the magic inside! After the window debut, head over to the Kids’ Department for photos with Santa and performers from the Washington Ballet, face painting and balloon art. Kids, write a letter to Santa at our Believe Outpost and help make wishes come true! For each letter we'll donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1,000,000. Don't leave without meeting Hello Kitty!
6:00pm, Men’s Department, 3rd floor: The fun continues where you can meet DC football player Anthony Armstrong! With any $50 Men’s purchase, receive a complimentary autograph*.
6:15pm, Women’s Department on 4: Enjoy excerpts from The Nutcracker presented by the Washington Ballet! With your $100 Women’s purchase made during the event take home a pair of tickets** to a performance of The Nutcracker.
6:30pm, Main Floor: Don’t leave without listening to magical performances by the Washington Performing Arts Society Children of the Gospel Choir.
