Macy's West Coast Food Truck Stop in L.A. with Chef Nancy Silverton

09.20.2011– “Macy’s Chefs A-Go-Go,” a national food truck tour showcasing the Macy’s Culinary Council is rolling into Los Angeles on September 27th at the Santa Monica Food Truck Lot! Macy’s first-ever food truck tour will feature Nancy Silverton on board, cooking her signature recipes and dishing them out for free! You heard that right.

If delicious free food and celebrity chefs weren’t enough to get you to “go-go,” visit the food truck tour when it rolls into your town. Fans that “like” Macy’s on Facebook (www.facebook/macys), or follow Macy’s on Twitter (@macys amd @macysevents) and the Macy’s Culinary Council on twitter (@CulinaryCouncil) and tweet using the hashtag #macyschefs will receive a special gift at each food truck stop, while supplies last.

ABOUT NANCY SILVERTON:
Nancy Silverton is an award-winning pastry chef and the founder of La Brea Bakery and co-owner of Mozza in Los Angeles and Singapore. Her cookbooks, Nancy Silverton's Pastries from the La Brea Bakery and Nancy Silverton's Breads from the La Brea Bakery, were nominated for awards from Julia Child and the James Beard Foundation, respectively. Silverton's 8th cookbook is set for release in August 2011.
