Annual City Tour (New)
Thanks for viewing the fourth annual tour of San Francisco hosted by DailyTechTalk.com. Starting in 2005, the SF city tour is perfect for Macworld Expo attendees that arrive on Sunday and are new to the city or just wanna get out of the hotel room and meet some very interesting people!
We usually have a crowd of at about 20 people. Wear proper shoes and plan to do some walking, as we make our way through the city on foot. We will take the longest journey to the Fisherman’s wharf via cable car.
I have a Schedule and Google Earth map below. (All times are PM)
2:00: Apple Store
2:15: Powel St. for cable car tickets
2:30: Union Square
3:15: Cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf
5:00: Coit Tower for spectacular view of the city ($5 admission)
6:00: Cable car back to Union Square and walk down to South of Market
6:15: Starbucks coffee for some revitalized energy
6:30: Walk around Moscone Center area
6:45: Inside the Sony metreon for a tour of local eating establishments close to Moscone (macworld's hub)
7:00: Subway from Powell station to Castro station
8:00: Thai food on Castro Street
There may be night-life plans that will be discussed over dinner. Location of dinner is always up for debate.

you don't want to miss this while you are in the Bay area, plus it's right beside a Cable Car turn-around back to Union Square!
There is a great Italian restaurant called, Buca di Beppo, right near Moscone Center. They serve family style. It can be packed, but they are used to catering to large groups.

buca di beppo, come on lets get some authentic SF cuisine... :)
Thanks for the comment but we can't please everyone :(
There's other evenings where we'll be eating at more authentic local places.
I'm attending the keynote, and I'm interested in joining your group
