In celebration of Halloween, QTP presents MACBETH, William Shakespeare’s horror-filled tale of fate and ambition. MACBETH will be performed by The Chekhov Theatre Ensemble, an award-winning resident company of actors trained in the methodology of Russian master Michael Chekhov. The Ensemble is comprised of actors who work as teaching-artists for Stages of Learning, a subsidiary of QTP. Director Jen Shirley, a master teaching-artist, presents the story as a one-act ensemble piece. Performers: Albert Iturregui-Elias. Russell Feder. Laura Frenzer. T. Scott Lilly, Dana Panepinto, Andrea Seigel, Ann Vieira and Jennifer Wintzer. Previous Ensemble productions include “King Lear”, “Cyrano”, “Trojan Women” and “Between Worlds”. The production is recommended for audiences 10 years and older.
Performances: October 30 at 8pm; October 31 at 8pm – Special Halloween Show – 50% off tickets in costume. Doors open one hour before the performance for refreshments and Halloween activities; November 1 at 2pm
