She is the funniest comedienne we’ve seen in a looooong time, and we just had to get her back to Ann Arbor. Lynne has her own ½ hour special - Comedy Central Presents: Lynne Koplitz currently in rotation on Comedy Central. She performed at the HBO’s Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival twice. Lynne was first noticed as the host of Telepictures “Change of Heart,” the nationally syndicated relationship show. She has also co-hosted of the comedy cooking show “How to Boil Water” on the Food Network and “Shop & Style” on NBC. She has appeared as a guest host of NBC's “Later,” has had a development deal with NBC for her own sitcom, and guest starred on NBC's “Extra” and “The Other Half.”
Lynne’s the first comedienne since Roseanne and Brett Butler to have a development deal for a sitcom with Tom Werner from the former Carsey/Werner producing team (Roseanne, Grace Under Fire, That 70s Show.)
Her many additional TV appearances include CBS’s “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn,” truTV’s “The Smoking Gun Presents,” and “History of the Joke” (with Lewis Black) for The History Channel. Lynne also stars as the character Dina in “Z Rock” which airs on IFC and currently is co-host of the "Star Talk Radio Show" along with well-known astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson (syndicated Sunday afternoons on KTLK (AM) in Los Angeles and WHFS in Washington DC.)
She’s the real deal, so don’t miss Lynne or you’ll have to kick yourself in the shins.
