With a career that spans over 30 years, George Lynch is one of the most influential guitarists in modern music. In the '80s, his guitar playing and songwriting helped transform the rock band Dokken into a highly successful, muti-platinum act. His work with Dokken solidified Lynch as a full-blown guitar hero, earning a Grammy nomination in 1989 for Best Instrumental. After recording and touring relentlessly throughout much of the decade, Lynch left Dokken in 1989 to form Lynch Mob. The band's releases include 'Wicked Sensation' (1990), 'Smoke This' (1999), and 'Smoke and Mirrors' (2009).
