We will be celebrating the ultimate in glam-underground excess—an anything-goes extravaganza bringing together the best in the hottest music, art, and entertainment. The exclusive "Luv n' Grace Affair is heralded as the next "it" affair by thrill seekers across Vancouver's cool party gambit from the past and present. "Luv n' Grace-Affair" brings the high life, literally and figuratively, in an exhibition of Vancouver's most fabulous fashionistas, outlandish artists, mystical muses, jet-setting socialites, and fantastic freaks from now and from its legendary days at the Luvafair in the late 70's/early 80's, revealing the delicious decadence that defined the decades but bringing it to the right here, right now...2007!

Never fear. Breaking boundaries between gay, straight, transgender and other, costume themed parties allow everyone, whether the night reflects their usual Saturday shenanigans or a voyaristic journey into the nightlife underworld, letting your inner goddess or god loose and getting schooled in all things glitter/glam/underground/new-wave provides kids with a chance to learn about something old, and turn it into something new.

Throughout the last few years Vancouver hipsters have often and rightfully complained about the lack of a diverse arty underground music movement today. They daydream about Andy Warhol Factory scene in the 1960s, when the Velvet Underground rocked out and ignited the punk movement, followed by David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust and The Thin White Duke who spearheaded everything from Glam to New-Wave and Goth in regards to style, fashion and music......

"Luv n' Grace Affair" was therefore established in 2007 for the purpose of having a revolution in Vancouver's bland and boring clubscene. We innovators should lead by example to become a true world class city in regards to having an interesting and eccentric nightlife a la Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, New York, San-Francisco and Chicago....
Not since the Luvafair/Graceland/Gandydancer/The Edge days have so many stylish people (a cross between fashionistas, '0s punks and French type new-wavers)
from so many different scenes (gay, straight, girls, boys, men and ladies) gotten so turned on and danced so hard for one kind of music in one place at the same time. The dress code is preferrably wild, eccentric, colorful, black, artsy, flamboyant, Thin White Duke, Ziggy Stardust, chunky platforms, pointy shoes/boots--extraterrestrial
or androgyny or whatever else one might want to invent for themselves......
