Luther College Symphony concert March 14, 2010

Want to hear classical music performed live by an orchestra in the western suburbs of Des Moines?
Then come to the concert of the Luther College Symphony at Faith Lutheran Church, 10395 University Avenue, at 7:30 p.m. on March 26.
The orchestra is visiting Faith Lutheran on its spring tour, which includes performances in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Colorado. Over 85 students comprise the orchestra, many of whom also sing in a choir, play chamber music or play in a jazz ensemble. The Luther College Symphony tours yearly throughout the United States and maintains a three-week residency in Vienna., Austria every four years, performing at such venues as the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz. The conductor is Daniel Baldwin.
This performance is part of Faith Lutheran Church's 2009-2010 fine arts series, Soli deo Musica. This season is the 19th season presented by Faith Lutheran Church.
