“Lunch at the Movies” Fundraiser to Benefit Free Arts of Arizona May 19, 2010

Free Arts of Arizona’s annual spring fundraiser, “Lunch at the Movies” presented by Paradise Bakery & Café and Harkins Theatres.

This annual fundraising event benefits abused, homeless and at-risk children across the Valley. This year’s luncheon features the premier of “Every Child Matters” and “Unleashing Creativity” – two inspiring documentary films by Phyllis Lane and co-directed by Alejandra Nash (wife of NBA star, Steve Nash, who was involved in the project).

The luncheon also features the opening of “I Matter,” an exhibition of original artwork created by children served by Free Arts of Arizona. Both filmmakers will participate in a Q&A session
