The Lunar Rendezvous Festival plans to hold the “Diamonds Are Forever” luncheon and fashion show on Tuesday, July 21, starting at 10 am, at the Galveston Convention Center at San Luis, 5222 Sewall Blvd., Galveston. A silent auction and social will begin at 10 am. The many activities planned for the day include: the Presentation of the Court, fashion show and live auction, as well as the Luncheon and Raffle Drawing.
This “Jewel of a Fashion Show” is being produced by nationally renowned, Len Matuszewski, Jr. Fashions for this event are being provided by: Adelaide’s, Attitudes and Latitudes, Back Bay Boutique, Clothes Horse, Dillard’s, Jill’s Fashions and Bridals, Tina’s (on the Strand) and UnZipped Denim Bar.

If you would like to avoid the drive to Galveston, you can sit back and relax while riding on a round trip bus. Step onto a luxury coach, being offered by the Lunar Rendezvous Festival, which will take you directly to the Galveston Convention Center. The bus will leave Bay Oaks Country Club at 9 am. Refreshments will be served, raffle tickets will be available and your reservation card will be handed out. The bus trip fee is $25, per person, round trip. The Lunar Rendezvous Festival is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that preserves both the historical lore and the many great accomplishments in the space sciences made by residents of the Clear Lake/Bay Area.
